Lexy Determan of Northwestern College was named the NAIA pitcher of the week for games played from Monday, April 21, through Sunday, April 27. Determan, freshman from Terril, went 4-0 on the mound with a .58 ERA and one save. In 24 innings pitched, Determan gave up 10 hits, two runs and struck out 28. She also registered two shutouts which included a one-hitter against Briar Cliff. In the Red Raiders 1-0 win over Briar Cliff, Determan pitched the final 1 1/3 innings to pick up the save and became the school's single season strikeout leader with a strikeout in the seventh inning.
