The Dutch street organ was delivered on Monday, May 14, after being overhauled by workers and specialists at Dobson Pipe Organ Builders, Ltd., of Lake City. The organ, since it is working, is a rarity, and a fund drive enabled its caretakers to restore its sound after continuous use reduced the insturment to whistles, wheezes and assorted notes. Here, Randy Vande Griend, street supervisor for Orange City, helps removing packing blankets before the organ was wheeled off the trailer into its holding area.
